Mohamed Hassan, Co-founder & CEO at Glamera, while discussing his initiative with Daily NewsPK explained how they are resolving issues that women face while booking an appointment or getting related services through out Middle East.
1. What led you to create ‘Glamera’? When was it founded?
The beginning of 2018 was when we decided to enter the technology sector, we made a sufficient studies for the beauty industry, whether it is products or services, and through surveys and meetings with service providers and a lot of current customers, we found that there is a big problem that no one tried to address, mainly it’s a managing reservations for the services of cosmetic centers. We decided to study the market carefully in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Oman and Kuwait and we have started working on providing a strong technical solution with an appropriate operational capacity … and then became “Glamera”, which was launched in August 2019.
2. What is the core service/solution you are providing?
Glamera offers a pre-booking services for beauty services through mobile and web platforms with an added benefits of electronic payment. Glamera is targeting to solve these problems;
Service providers problems:
– Difficulty organizing and arranging appointments
– Continuous waste of materials
– Managing employee tasks
– No reporting or follow-up system
User Problem:
– Long wait inside the center
– The difficulty of pre-booking and determining a specific providers
– Unclear pricing
– Incomplete services and quality of service
3. What are the parameters to measure client satisfaction?
Glamera manages a communication with the end user during and after the service and from the direct evaluation after performing the service, as well as through the customer care department in the application and through their desire to reserve again.
4. What is your future outlook and what do you stand to achieve by next year?
In Glamera, we have a very ambitious vision in covering wider geographical areas in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Erbil, Kuwait, Oman and the Emirates, as well as planning to provide our services to millions of users. And to make Glamera a great brand and first choice as an application in the Middle East and Africa.
