As part of its efforts to spread the spirit of giving in the community, Ooredoo surprised pilgrims on their way to perform Hajj with special gifts at Muscat International Airport. Gift packs were distributed by Ooredoo’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) department, to support the pilgrims on their spiritual journey.
Designed especially for those performing Hajj, Ooredoo’s limited-time Saudi Passport is offering unlimited GBs of data and 30 minutes of voice, which includes calling locally within Saudi Arabia, calling back to Oman and receiving all calls, for just OMR 10, valid for 14 days.
The initiative was organised under the banner of Ooredoo’s long-running CSR programme, ‘Goodwill’, which places particular emphasis on activities that are close to the heart of the community. During last Ramadan and Eid, the company sent a team of volunteers to distribute gifts to women, youth, the elderly, people in hospital and children with disabilities, as well as a range of other initiatives throughout the month. With more CSR activities happening throughout the year, it further reinforces Ooredoo’s efforts to make people’s lives better and support the community.
