A helping hand for unbureaucratic support – the Bremen debt collection service provider SEGHORN is cooperating with Fabit, the digital coach for healthy finances. In the future, consumers will be informed about Fabit’s independent offer of help directly on the letters of demand and reminders from SEGHORN.
The cooperation aims to help people who have difficulties managing their finances to develop healthy money habits and become financially fit again. “People who have problems with money often feel left alone. If a debt collection letter also flutters into the house, it often leads to a feeling of powerlessness in those affected,” says Dorothea van den Berg, Managing Director of SEGHORN. “In order to counteract this, we are now offering those affected with Fabit a low-threshold and free offer of help.”
“Especially in difficult times like the one we are experiencing now, it is important to focus more on your financial management. Rising energy and living costs are affecting many people in Germany,” says Susanne Krehl, founder of Fabit. “It can happen that an invoice is forgotten or not paid due to a lack of money. But it is all the more important to draw people’s attention to offers of help that help them manage their budget and expenses,” she continues.
The independent and free Fabit app helps consumers to get their finances in order. To do this, Fabit combines event-related financial education, active financial help in everyday life, and a behavioral science approach to support users in their long-term goals.
“Social sustainability is firmly anchored with us. Responsible working together and for each other are the basis of our actions,” says van den Berg. And further: “Through the cooperation with Fabit, we are expanding our customer-centric approach to include an offer of help that enables consumers to take private financial management into their own hands.”
