Zimpler – providing tailor-made solutions for seamless and secure account-to-account (A2A) payments – is now launching real-time payments across national borders. The feature enables Zimpler’s customers to instantly send payments in euros to all 20 countries in the euro area through SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area), without hidden fees or complicated administrative work.
SEPA was created to streamline and simplify electronic payments in euros across Europe. It makes payments safer, faster and easier. Businesses avoid using conventional methods such as checks or wire transfers because they can send payments directly to a recipient’s bank account. By offering greater geographic coverage, Zimpler will now be able to cater to more European players. The solution will be available to both B2C and B2B customers.
“We are expanding our offering and providing both existing and new customers with instant, secure and cost-effective cross-border payments while meeting the highest anti-money laundering standards. Zimpler’s launch of cross-border payments is an important milestone for the company. We now have a truly pan-European presence. The function has several uses in segments where Zimpler is already active, such as lending, salary payments or cashback. It is exciting to see Zimpler continue to expand and build momentum from last year’s successful B2B payments and paylink product launch,” said Nicolas Köllerstedt, Chief Growth Officer for Zimpler.
“SEPA payout is a highly sought-after solution for companies operating in Europe as it offers a cost-effective, fast and secure way to send payments. Because it is standardized, companies can use it to make payments in the same way in different countries. In addition, with our API-based solution, companies can seamlessly integrate disbursement functions into their software systems, enabling fast and streamlined processes such as payroll, refunds and loan transactions,” says Joan Migioia, Internationalization Manager for Zimpler.
“Zimpler is an A2A payment provider that is now expanding our reach into new markets and trying to attract new customers. Therefore, launching instant cross-border payments was one of our priorities. I look forward to seeing how this expansion moves Zimpler forward,” continues Joan Migioia.
