VMware announced the appointment of Amr Salah as Regional Director for North Africa and Levant (NALE) with immediate effect. Based in Egypt in his new role, reports to Ahmed Auda, Managing Director, METNA, and is responsible for leading a team of highly skilled strategic sales executives.
Salah has 32 years of experience operating within the region’s technology sector. Prior to joining VMware, Amr held multiple roles at companies including Microsoft, Apple, Citrix and Sun Microsystems.
He has strong experience leading partner management, enterprise sales, commercial, and mid-market teams. He is particularly skilled at building high-performance teams and trusted strategic relationships with partners and customers based on clear, achievable business plans.
