The Punjab government has launched an education app, Taleem Ghar,which will contain localised and engaging multimedia lessons available online soon for public school students of class one to eight as well as matric and intermediate.
This was announced by Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Chairman Azfar Manzoor who was heading a meeting in which PITB Director General (DG) Waqar Qureshi, Director Kashif Farooq & others were also part of.
The Taleem Ghar project is a joint venture between the Punjab Information Technology Board, School Education Department, and the government of Punjab’s Program Monitoring and Implementation Unit (PMIU).
Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) chairman Azfar Manzoor said that the students are getting modern education while being at their home through ‘Taleem Ghar’ app.
“The project will be of great benefit to students in the prevailing situation of the coronavirus pandemic,” he added.
