JS Bank, in the hour of need, has waived all charges on internet, mobile and ATM banking to ensure safety and well-being of its customers and employees during the coronavirus outbreak.
The move will encourage all JS Bank customers to socially distance themselves and avoid visiting branches to curb the spread of the deadly virus.
Following the announcement, the bank received huge appreciation on social site twitter, and soon #JSBankcares and #bankfromhome became top trends in Pakistan.
JS Bank communicated the good news through its social media assets. This is something others could learn from and push organizations to move towards a customer-centric approach rather than an organization-centric approach.
It is worth mentioning here that corona outbreak has paralyzed economies and has brought the world economic system to its knees.
With over 237 positive cases in Pakistan, most of the organizations incubated in the country have diverted towards the agility model. More than 60 companies announced work from home for employees on Tuesday to avoid the spread of this deadly virus.
The entire list of companies doesn’t include any bank, as all are open and serving as usual.
