Computop, the leading payment service provider in German e-commerce, is now making Click to Pay with Visa e-wallet available in Germany and Europe as well.
Once registered in the wallet, customers can pay immediately with their credit card without entering any further data. The transfer of the card data by Computop takes place completely in the background, the billing and shipping address can also be transferred automatically.
A Visa token is used for the security of customer data. All card features are encrypted in relation to the transaction and transmitted with a cryptogram. This procedure also has a positive effect on the transaction risk analysis, with which the separate authentication of the cardholder in accordance with the PSD2 regulation is to be avoided.
