Allied Bank (ABL) has introduced Pakistan’s first voice-assisted banking using Siri, “myABL”, marking an another mile stone in Pakistan’s digital banking industry.
Siri is a virtual assistant that is part of Apple Inc.’s iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, macOS, and tvOS operating systems. Siri is a faster, easier way to do all kinds of useful things.
With this service, myABL Digital Banking customers can check account balance, make instant payments to any bank account, and enquire credit card outstanding balance through simple voice requests such as “Hey Siri, what is my savings account balance?”, “Hey Siri, transfer rupees five thousand to Zafar Iqbal for pocket money” or “Hey Siri, what is the outstanding balance of my credit card?”.
Funds transfer via Siri will be more secured as Siri follows two-factor authentication and it works for both Touch ID and Face ID supported iPhone models.
