Anuscha Iqbal, CEO of Spotii while in conversation with Daily NewsPK, explained how they are supporting e-commerce ecosystem in the region and offering unique solution to consumers in UAE.
1. What led you to create ‘Spotii’? When was it founded?
The regions e-commerce ecosystem is at an inflection point and a service such as Spotii will help accelerate that growth. We went live in April 2020.
2. What is the core service/solution you are providing? What are the pain points that you are targeting and what is the key differentiating factor from similar offerings?
Spotii provides shoppers with the ability to Shop Now Pay Later with no cost or hidden fees. Our goal is to support the regions e-commerce ecosystem and provide an extremely consumer friendly product that would support customers during this period of economic uncertainty while helping merchants grow a loyal consumer base. We are unique in our obsessive customer centric approach and our commitment to provide a service that benefits both the merchant and the consumer.
3. What are the parameters to measure client satisfaction?
People love to shop but hate the payments aspect of it. Client satisfaction would be when a consumer feels satisfaction / joy, almost happiness when using Spotii as a payment method at checkout.
4. What is your future outlook and what do you stand to achieve by next year?
We aim to build an engaged, empowered and inclusive community that leads the way in the Shop Now, Pay Later space. By next year, we plan to have a meaningful presence both within the GCC as well as across the broader region.
